My Tanks
Compared to some of the other aquarists I’ve met, my case of MTS (multiple tank syndrome) seems to be rather mild. Here’s a list of the aquariums that I currently maintain.
Tank 1: South American Community
Size: 100 gallons
Decor: 1 large driftwood, silica sand substrate, black styrofoam background
Filtration: 1 5′ overhead filter, 1 Seaquest 2200 powerhead
Inhabitants: 6 Heros sp. “Rotkeil”, 6 Megalechis thoracatum (Hoplo Catfish), 6 Hemigrammus caudovittatus (Buenos Aires Tetra)
Tank 2: Brichardi Specie Tank
Size: 50 gallons
Decor: 2 skull rocks, silica sand substrate, black cartolina background
Filtration: 1 Eheim 2215
Inhabitants: 6 adult Neolamprologus brichardi (Princess of Burundi) with 4 juveniles and 15+ fry
Tank 3: Lake Tanganyika Community
Size: 75 gallons
Decor: 4 skull rocks, crushed coral substrate, stone poster background
Filtration: 1 Eheim 2217
Inhabitants: 6 Julidochromis transcriptus, 3 Neolamprologus leleupi, 1 Altolamprologus compressiceps
